Advanced Course for Complex Transfers for Healthcare Professionals
The goal of this course is to educate select staff members who have already taken the intro course to be trained to be a "transfer expert" in advanced transfers for clients with poor trunk control or multiple comorbidities. Classes are customized to each individual staff member and site specifics. Site specifics, but not limited to: acute care facilities, inpatient rehabs, outpatient clinics, in-home caregivers.
Deluxe Package for Healthcare Facilities
The goal of this package is for the instructor to provide an in-depth course customized to site specifics teaching select employees proper transfer techniques. After completion of the course, employees will be "transfer experts" and be able to instruct their coworkers on proper transfers. This course is meant to be self-sustaining for each facility. Instructor will cater to the facility's specific needs based on the population they serve.
Functional Mobility for In-Home Caregivers
The goal of this course is to provide hands-on education to for caregivers performing transfers with clients, utilizing proper body mechanics and ensuring the client feels safe and supported consistently. The class will be held in a classroom with other caregivers of all experience levels and reinforce repetition of skills to promote muscle memory and confidence.
